Today we need …

🤞 🟦 *Help for HUGO* 🟦 🤞we need £117.80 for his care costs 🥴

💙 Could you help sponsor sweet Hugo? His pot has been empty for quite some time, and he really deserves some support! 💙

💬💙Hugo is a beautiful boy, around 4 years old, and he loves to play!
He's truly a wonderful dog

💬💙When he first arrived, Hugo was a bit hesitant around men, but now he’s a loving companion to both male and female team members.

💬 💙Like many pups, Hugo can be cautious around new faces, so it will take a few visits to the kennels to win his trust.

💬 💙But once you gain that trust, he’ll shower you with unconditional love and absolutely loves some attention. 🩵

💬 💙He’s also quite motivated by treats! ( aren’t we all? 😂)

💬 💙He adores his walks 🐕 but can be a little strong on the lead at first

As with any new dog, we’ll need to arrange meet-and-greets with any resident dogs to ensure a good bond.
Please note, Hugo hasn’t been tested with cats.

All he truly wants is a loving family of his own! 💔

Todays SHOUT OUT is for our veteran BRONX who would still LOVE that elusive sofa to call his own 🙏🏻

💙Can you help sponsor him to help us?
This poor lad hasn’t had any help for quite a while and we desperately need help with his £117.80 care cost…..💙

💬He is a wonderful (and quite excitable!) boy who is very loving. Bronx adores having his tummy rubbed and going on walks.
He had a difficult start in life - he was badly beaten up and still bears the emotional scars....😭

We have mended him as much as we can and he has come such a long way but now he needs a loving home dedicated to righting the wrongs that have been done to him and being there just for him.

💬Bronx needs to be around people all the time and the only dog in the family.
💬He has not been cat tested.
💬He is strong on the lead and will need a fenced secure environment.
💬Also, Bronx tends to chew so will need plenty of long lasting chews! ♥️🐾🐾

Don’t you just love a good Bordeaux? ?

Please meet our very own! 🩵 DAVE! 💙

Dave is a majestic 7 year old ‘Dogues de Bordeaux’ X ‘Mastiff’ - he’s based in Cottam DN22

Dave entered our care after being found on the streets in such a state with a heavy chain around his neck and multiple skin infections. 😭
We suspect he’d been used as a guard dog and then dumped.

Dave has progressed in leaps and bounds with lots of time and love from our kennels team. 💙
His skin is better now, due to medicated baths (as you’ll see in the ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos).

Dave :

💬is strong on the lead (although he doesn’t pull, he plods!) ♥️

💬requires an only dog / only pet home

💬needs an experienced ‘breed savvy’ owner

💬likes his treats and a fuss!

💬enjoys duvets to sleep on and really hates leaving them for a walk!

💬has learnt his basic commands

💬is fully vaccinated

💬 is a total love bug ♥️

He loves people and is now seeking his ‘happy ever after’ and that favourite duvet! He will make the best kind of friend you’d ever want 🐾🐾.
