Benson was the stray that no-one wanted, no-one claimed him and no one chose him for rescue....
Well that was their loss JUST LOOK AT HIM NOW!
The poor boy faced a very uncertain future and had no-one to help him. All we knew about him was that he was about 2 years old, male and either a Staffie or Staffie cross and that he needed us. We had no kennel space available but we weren’t about to let him down, so we paid emergency boarding to keep him safe until we did.
He needed a name and it needed to be strong like him, so we decided to name him after our very own endurance runner, Jane Benson.
She raised much needed funds to help our dogs by running 100 miles in 24 hours and was the 3rd lady to finish!
Our Benson is living up to his name and proving nothing gets him down.
He’s a strong boy, very friendly with people although initially nervous of some and doesn’t like other dogs so needs to be an only dog.
He’s looking for someone who can give him clear boundaries and offer him the love and loyalty he craves.
