Boston was the tragic victim of sustained and vicious beatings and abuse which resulted in a successful RSPCA prosecution. You may have seen the sickening RSPCA video of him being beaten and speared with sticks and rakes. He never fought back but laid on his back and tried desperately to escape through an impossible few inches under a garden gate. Understandably traumatised by his prolonged torture, his trust in the human race needed rebuilding.
It has taken us a very long time and lots of patience, understanding and love and now he trusts our whole team but he is still initially wary of new people and stresses when he meets them.
Boston needs a special home – is that you? He needs a home who will understand the pain and fear he has experienced, work with him patiently until he knows he can trust them, visit the kennels many times to get to know him and when he opens his heart to you this beautiful boy will give you unconditional love.
He loves his walks and knows his commands.
